How your purchases are shipped
This summary of our delivery process needs to be read in conjunction with our standard terms and conditions.
Currently all orders are delivered through Mainfreight or New Zealand Couriers. All products will be sent to the street address you have specified. We can deliver to any valid physical address in New Zealand, but do not deliver to postal boxes. We send goods by signature required service for your security. If you are not at home when the freight company calls, a card will be left in your letterbox and the freight company will arrange a delivery time with you.
Estimated Delivery Times
We will process your order within 2 days of receipt and delivery should be no more than a further 2 days for the South Island and 3 days for the North Island. (You may need to add 1 additional day for rural deliveries)
Orders are processed and deliveries are made Monday through Friday only. Kindly understand that a delay could occur if your credit card is declined or for address verification if your address is entered incorrectly.
We will e mail you a tracking number when your order has been collected by the freight company.
If you order an item that is suddenly sold out then we will attempt to contact you immediately.
If you pay by cheque then your order will not be processed until after the cheque has cleared. Normally you should add an extra 7 days to the delivery time.
Delivery Charges and Calculations
Delivery costs will be calculated on your order when you complete and fill in your delivery details.
The delivery costs for all goods, except handles, are calculated for 4 different zones. These are:
Canterbury (including Ashburton)
Rest of the South Island
Auckland, Hamilton, Palmerston North and Wellington
Rest of the North island
Insurance
You are advised to consider arranging insurance for goods valued in excess of $1500.
Damaged Goods
You should always check that the goods have arrived in good condition before signing for the goods. If goods are damaged in delivery then please contact us immediately. Please retain the packaging.
